Adding Backlinks to the Disavow List

Disavowing links ensures that unwanted links are not considered by search engines when assessing your site. Follow these simple steps to manage your backlinks effectively.

Adding Backlinks from External Sources

  1. Manual Addition:
    • In the “Disavow” tab, click the designated button.Choose the format: either manually input links or upload a text file.
  2. Populating the Disavow List:
    • After adding a backlink, it appears in the table with detailed parameters.Manage your disavowed links directly within the SEO-AIM system.

Adding Backlinks from Backlinks and Domains Tabs

  1. Via Backlinks Tab:
    • In the “Backlinks” tab, select one or multiple links, then click “Disavow.”Choose either URL or Domain to specify the disavowal.
  2. Utilizing Domains Tab:
    • Navigate to the “Domains” tab to disavow multiple links simultaneously.Select the desired links, click “Disavow,” and manage your disavowal settings.

Exporting the Disavow List

  1. Exporting Options:
    • Visit the “Disavow” tab and click “Export.”Choose “EXCEL” for .XLS file or “CSV” for a .CSV file.Export disavowed links to Google Search Console with the .TXT file format.
